- 1/2 cup of Gf all purpose flour (not almond or corn flour)
- 1/4 cup of water
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of rice or white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, vinegar, flour, and salt. In a microwave or whatever works best for you, heat you water so that it is warm but cool enough to comfortably dip your finger in. Add the yeast and stir until well combined. Let it rise for about 10 minutes. If your yeast is on the older side, add a little bit of sugar. Once it becomes foamy, add it to your flour mixture. If it is too wet, add more flour. It should be a soft, slightly wet dough. Knead for about 2 minutes and then put back into the bowl. Cover with a towel and let it rise for about 10-20 minutes. In this time, you can preheat you oven to 400℉ with your pizza stone in. You can also prepare your toppings if you would like. When your dough and your oven are both ready, carefully take the stone out. Roll the dough out with a rolling pin to about 1/4 inch thick. Add toppings. Bake for about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
