Easy Crispy Tofu With Orange Sauce (Gf, V)


For Tofu:

  • 1 block of tofu
  • salt to taste
  • sesame seeds
  • avocado oil

For optional orange sauce:

  • 1 teaspoon of orange zest
  • 1/3 cup of orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon of vegan butter
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
  • sugar if desired


Preheat your oven to 425℉. Cut the tofu into 1/4 inch slices. If you have a press, press your tofu for best results. Put it on a baking tray and drizzle with the rest of your ingredients.

Whisk the ingredients for orange sauce ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Cook on medium heat until thick and smooth. Remove from heat to stop thickening. Set aside.

When both the tofu and orange sauce are ready, drizzle orange sauce over tofu. Enjoy!
