Vegan Carbonara (Also Much Healthier)


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of any pasta you choose
  • 1/3 cup of silken tofu
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded cheese or nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt to taste
  • Any vegetables that you like

Directions

Follow the directions on the box for your pasta. while you are waiting for the water to boil or for the pasta to cook, heat a small pan to medium heat and put your minced garlic in. I suggest using a garlic press. Cook until very fragrant and put it into a food processor. add the tofu, water, salt, and cheese or nutritional yeast. Blend until just blended (about 5-10 seconds) and leave it until the pasta is ready. When it’s ready, put it in the serving bowl and stir your sauce and vegetables in with it. Enjoy!
