Chinese Style Stir Fry

  • 2 oz of noodles
  • 1/5 block of firm tofu (3 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons of canned bamboo shoots
  • 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons of soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar (brown sugar is best)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonns of garlic powder

First, fill a meduim-large pot about halfway with water. Bring it to a boil and then add your noodles. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the noodles are soft to bite. Strain them and rinse them with cold water. Cut the tofu into bite-size chunks. Combine it with the rest of your ingredeints except the garlic powder. Toss a little. Heat a pan to high heat and add your mixture. Cook for about 10 minutes until it starts to char and the tofu is cooked. Add the garlic powder towards the end off the cooking because it will burn if exposed to too much high heat and not give the flavor that it is supposed to. Enjoy!
