Vegan Gluten Free Pupusas


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of masa harina flour
  • 1/4 cup of potato startch
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • rice
  • vegetables of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin seed

Directions

First, make your dough. In a medium bowl, blend your masa harina flour, potato startch, salt, oil, and water. Knead it until smooth. Next, make the filling. In another medium bowl, blend the rest of your ingredients. Heat a large frying pan to high heat with a high-heat oil. Roll your dough out into 3 tortillas. Put your filling in the middle of each one and fold them up loke you are making a taco, but pinch up the openings. cook them for about 30 seconds on each sideand flip each one about 4 times. That is a total of 2 minutes. Put them on a plate and eat hot. Enjoy! 🍅🥒🥦
