- 1 1/2 cup of all purpose gluten free flour
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
First, make your dough. Normally, you would use yeast, but this is a simple recipe that any beginner can do with the ingredients in their kitchen. Combine all of the ingredients except for the water in a medium bowl. Then, slowly add water until it becomes a soft dough that you can knead. Roll it into long “snakes.” Next, bring a pot of water to a boil and use a strainer spoon to put the sticks in. They are ready when they float to the top. Take them out with the same strainer spoon and put them on a baking tray. Do them one at a time to prevent them from joining together in the pot. Preheat your oven to 430℉. Sprinkle the pretzels lightly with salt and bake for 15 minutes. Let cool. Enjoy!
