- Freestone peaches (any peaches would work, but these are easier to pit)
- Extra light olive oil
- Sugar or maple syrup
- Topping (optional) I have found that this is delicious with the peaches
Wash your peaches and then cut them in half. Take the pits out. Brush a thin layer of olive oil onto the flat part of the peaches. Heat a grill or griddle (if you use a griddle, put olive oil on to prevent sticking) to medium heat. Put the peaches on and let them cook for 5-10 minutes. Do not move them around or the crispy bottom will stick and come off of the peach. They should have grill marks on them, but not be burt. Finally, sprinkle a tiny bit of sugar on them or pour a little bit of maple syrup to keep flavor. Add toppings like ice cream, or just serve them plain. Enjoy!
